SOCIAL Responsibility
Due to our social responsibilities, our company is among the partners of the recovery project initiated jointly by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and İZGEP and it provides support for separate collection at resource carried out in order to collect these kind of wastes that reduce the volume of sanitary landfills and to make the economy recover them.

PLACE OF RECYCLE IN NATIONAL ECONOMY
Recovery of recyclable wastes is beneficial both for the economy and environment. Materials such as plastic, glass, metal, paper, ceramic, textile, bone and wood can be recycled as secondary raw material instead of being buried in storage areas. In this way, both raw material need of the industry decreases, raw material is provided economically for the industry and energy, water…etc consumption for production of raw material goes down. Furthermore, as the intensity of these wastes are generally very low, they form a large waste volume. Volume of waste that goes to storage areas decrease significantly thus, life spans of storage areas are extended with recovery of recyclable wastes to the economy.

To be able to recycle these wastes, they should be as clean as possible. In this respect, the most suitable approach is to collect these separately from the place they are produced and then to divide them into purer fractions in a separation plant. However, this approach is not possible in some places due to socio-economic factors. In this case, wastes are collected disorderly and following that, they are decomposed from wet wastes and divided into fractions in a separation plant. The aim should be to collect the wastes separately at resource in the long run again.
